KeyRing AI ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our services.

2. Local-First Architecture

KeyRing AI is designed as a local-first platform. API keys, conversations, metrics, and generated media are stored on your machine. We do not receive or store that local data.

3. Third-Party AI Providers

By providing API keys, you connect directly to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Mistral, Groq, Cohere, DeepSeek, Together AI, Perplexity, ElevenLabs services. Usage is subject to each provider's terms of service and privacy policies. KeyRing AI does not provide these AI services directly and is not responsible for content generated by those models.

When you send prompts to a selected provider, that provider processes the request under its own terms and privacy policy. KeyRing AI does not receive or store those prompts, responses, provider API keys, or generated media.

KeyRing AI is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise associated with OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, Mistral, Groq, Cohere, DeepSeek, Together AI, Perplexity, ElevenLabs.

4. Information We Collect

Through our website and account systems, we collect:

  • Account information: name, email address, and hashed password.
  • Subscription data: plan type, billing interval, and payment status processed by Stripe.
  • License records: license key, activation status, and optional machine identifier.
  • Contact messages: name, email, subject, and message content.
  • Website analytics: aggregate website usage data for public page, docs, and onboarding measurement.

5. Information We Do Not Collect

  • API keys for AI providers.
  • Conversation content or local chat history.
  • Generated images, videos, or audio artifacts.
  • Local usage metrics or token counts.
  • Local file contents or attachments.

6. Website Analytics

We use website analytics to understand aggregate website usage, such as which public pages, docs, and onboarding paths are working. We do not enable advertising or cross-site personalization tags.

7. Payment Processing

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank details on our servers.

8. Data Security

We use standard security controls including encrypted password storage, HTTPS transport, and secure session handling.

9. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@keyringlabs.com.
