The cap is intentional, not decorative. A small beta is easier to support, easier to learn from, and less likely to drown useful feedback in noise. Early users get a closer line to the product while the workflow surfaces are still being refined. That is usually a better experience than joining a giant 'beta' that behaves like a quiet launch.
Today we opened paid beta access for KeyRing AI. The program has a 100-seat cap: 25 Early Beta seats and 75 Standard Beta seats. The backend reserves seats before redirecting to Stripe Checkout, tracks sold and currently reserved seats, and releases unpaid holds when checkout expires or session creation fails.
Pricing is split into two one-time purchase tiers. Early Beta is $25 for the first 25 supporters. Standard Beta is $75 for the remaining 75 seats and unlocks after no Early seats remain available. Both tiers receive the same product access.
A completed beta purchase creates a KR-BETA license with PRO-level limits and a 90-day term. Beta participants also receive founding-member discount status: 50% off PRO subscriptions for the first 24 months after public launch.
